Eyelid Surgery – Cosmetic vs. Medically Necessary | Presented by Plastic Surgeon Nicolas Villanustre, MD

Wednesday October 2nd, 2019 | 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM | Tarpon Springs

As we age, our eyelids can droop and sag, sometimes even disrupting vision. This session will cover eyelid surgery and what insurance companies consider medically necessary versus cosmetic. There will be examples of the procedure shown as well as other services that often can accompany eyelid surgery. There will be a presentation followed by a Q&A session with the doctor. A light lunch will be served at this free event for patients new to eyelid surgery.
Nicolas Villanustre, MD, is a plastic surgeon and medical director at Reflections at St. Luke’s in Clearwater and at the new location in Tarpon Springs, Florida. In 2016 he was named #1 on Cosmopolitan Magazine’s Top Florida Plastic Surgeons.
