People over the age of 65 and women who have recently gone through menopause are likely to experience dry eye, a condition where there aren’t enough tears to provide proper lubrication and nourishment for the eye. In addition to discomfort, dry eye can lead to compromised visual quality. If you have dry eyes or if your eyes tend to itch or burn at times, this session is for you. Corneal Surgeon and Dry Eye Specialist, Brandon Rodriguez, MD will discuss the root causes of dry eye and your options for treatment. He’ll also answer questions from the audience and discuss tips on maintaining healthy eyes.
