Dr. Diaz earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of South Alabama after completing her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders at Auburn University. Throughout her training, she gained extensive experience in comprehensive audiologic evaluations, hearing loss diagnosis, otoscopic examinations, acoustic immittance testing, and individualized amplification recommendations using live speech mapping.
She further developed her clinical skills during an externship at Bay Pines VA Medical Center, where she had the opportunity to care for veterans. Dr. Diaz is also well versed in tinnitus education and management, effective communication strategies, and personalized patient counseling.
Originally from Alabama, Dr. Diaz is excited to begin this new chapter in Florida and become part of the St. Luke’s team. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at the beach, walking trails, paddleboarding, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Diaz looks forward to bringing her passion for audiology and commitment to exceptional patient care to St. Luke’s.
