8/22- Having chronic floters, dry eye macula degeneration, add caracts (mild). My choice, I saw two different private eye Dr's.. Before seeing St.Luke, Dr. Ponce, who referred me to Dr. Glass, got a detail eye exam. Waited to get new Rx, decision on having catract surgery, which or my option, recommended was to get the Medicare standard lenses, due to I would still need reading glasses, and my health of eye. Also not recommended Lazer treatment of mild astigmatism. Lot of disappointing news. My Dr. Wifi was concern about good eye health ,my results, not the extra 5,000 it would cost me.. They answered my question then and several days later. Calm ,respectable, and friendly. Surgery center was not crowded, met me at door, each step your walked through and told what's happening. The Nurse prays with you if you want. Pastoral Tom, greets you, offers care, blanket. Lovely calm experience. Watching surgery done onYouTube, by my Dr. Wifi, was a good thing for ME. It prepared me for it all. It went well, going back 2 ND eye. Things I did not like: Patient portal is not efficient or gives current info. For help. All I hear ..it's new. At Dalemabry office. My tech, Kristen, was inpatient cause I could not see eye chart, my mask foggy up machine she said ( Explained I am cancer immunity comprise). You do not have to wear it!! She said. And she tried to hold open my eye to get a reading pressure. .I said I never had had anyone (try and hold open and other hand try to take a reading).I do not want ever again. And Dr. Glass not there for follow-up. New Dr. Which I loved took time, assure me of my concerns. When I asked to see her for next followup they said no, cause you need to stay with same Dr. Glass. We shall see...
