Bruce Kiskaddon, MD
Bruce M. Kiskaddon, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been an experienced member of St. Luke’s surgical staff since 1980.
Dr. Kiskaddon’s surgical practice primarily involves ophthalmic laser procedures. He has successfully performed over 6,300 Yag laser capsulotomies, restoring eyesight in patients who have developed gradual blurred vision after their cataract surgery. In addition, Dr. Kiskaddon performs selective laser trabeculoplasty (SCT) procedures to stabilize and improve eye pressure in glaucoma patients. Further, he provides evaluations and treatments of various disorders of the eyelids, external eye, cornea and for glaucoma.
Born and raised in Ohio, Dr. Kiskaddon received his undergraduate degree with major studies in chemistry from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania. He completed his medical degree (MD) the University of Louisville, School of Medicine in Kentucky. Subsequently, he spent one year in a medical internship at the Medical College of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Kiskaddon then completed his specialty training in ophthalmology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Dr. Kiskaddon and his wife Arlene live in Tarpon Springs. They have five children: Keith, Amy, Eric, Lindsey and Kathryn. He enjoys reading, music, and outdoor activities involving family and friends.
