Katherine Francis, MD
Katherine Francis, MD, is a primary care provider for St. Luke’s. She conducts pre-surgery medical clearances, ensuring that each patient’s surgeon has his or her past and current medical history and physical exam results prior to the procedure.
Dr. Francis earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Florida State University and received her MD from the University of Florida’s College of Medicine, Gainesville, Florida.
She completed her Internship and Residency at the Tallahassee Memorial Regional Medical Center. Her broad medical practice experience includes: private practice, large physicians groups, community health centers as well as the Veterans Administration Outpatient clinic in Fort Myers.
Dr. Francis and her husband Dan have three children and are longtime Florida residents. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, church activities, reading and music.
