John T. LiVecchi, MD, FACS

John T. LiVecchi, MD, FACS is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist and  fellowship trained Ocuplastic surgeon, specializing in Eyelid & Facial Cosmetic Surgery including upper and lower eyelid surgery, browlifts, Botox®, Restylane®, and Radiesse®.

Dr. LiVecchi received a Bachelor of Science degree from the City University of New York at Richmond and earned his Medical Doctorate from the University of Rome in 1977. He served his internship at Long Island College Hospital Brooklyn, New York and completed a residency in ophthalmology at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center and was chief resident there from 1981 to 1982. From 1982 to 1983 he was a Fellow in Oculoplastic Surgery at the Kresge Eye Institute of Wayne State University, Detroit Michigan.

Dr. LiVecchi is Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Drexel University College of Medicine in Pennsylvania . He regularly makes scien­tific presentations and exhibits of his work at scholarly meetings and has published numerous articles. He is a contributing author to several current texts on ophthalmology. Dr. LiVecchi travels worldwide as a Course Director teaching other eye doctors state-of-the-art surgery. He currently is the Medical Director of three medical companies in the USA and sits on several Boards as an offi­cer and a director.

Dr. LiVecchi was born and raised in Staten Island, New York.  He practiced ophthalmology in Pennsylvania for 20 years and was in the US Army Reserve. Dr. LiVecchi’s hobbies include tennis, wine making, travel, theater, fine dining, and sporting events.
