Jason Evangelista, MD

Serving you at our Tarpon Springs office

Dr. Evangelista is an ophthalmologist specializing in corneal and refractive surgery .  His current practice includes the treatment of corneal diseases, all forms of corneal tranplant surgery, LASIK, and dry eyes.

Dr. Evangelista attended college at the University of Florida and graduated from the honors program with a degree in chemistry.  His medical degree was obtained at the University of South Florida in Tampa.  After an internship in Virginia, he completed his ophthalmology training as Chief Resident at the University of South Carolina.  He returned to Florida as a Cornea and External Disease fellow at St. Luke's.

Dr. Evangelista has authored numerous papers and posters on a variety of ophthalmology treatments including recent advances in corneal transplant surgery.  He was born and raised in Pinellas county.  Dr. Evangelista lives in Palm Harbor with his wife and 4 sons.
