Ken Murphy, O.D. - Eye doctor - FloridaDr. Kenneth R. Murphy is a board certified optometric physician specializing in primary medical eye care. He examines, diagnoses, treats and manages diseases of the eyes and visual systems. He diagnoses vascular, cardiac, neurological, and other systematic conditions related to the eyes. His services include routine eye exams, medical emergency eye exams, evaluations for dry and wet eyes, cataracts, flashes of lights, floaters, macular degeneration, retinal detachments and other primary retinal problems. He has a special interest in the diagnosing and pharmaceutical management of glaucoma.

Dr. Murphy served in the U.S. Navy as a Navel Engineering Officer and in the Navel Air Program. After earning his degree in optometry, he completed an additional 22 years in the Naval Reserves Program as an optometrist and has been practicing optometry since 1969.

Dr. Murphy and his wife, Mary Jo, live in Tarpon Springs. They have two adult children, Tara and Tim, and precious grandchildren.
